Hello! Welcome to my website. I'm Jess, a motivated marketing and communications professional. I currently live and work in sunny Saint Petersburg, Florida where I spend my free time exploring the local markets and waterfront parks.

My work is my passion and I am fascinated by digital media and all things tech. I began using WordPress and Adobe InDesign in 2011 in my high school journalism classes, which sparked my interest in this field. While earning my bachelors in telecommunications from the University of Florida, I took graduate level courses in graphic and web design, where I strengthened my skills in InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, HTML, and CSS. Along the way, I interned and freelanced for numerous clients, which brought me to where I am now: a full-time marketing specialist and part-time graduate student.

As a part-time student in the University of Florida's Master of Arts in Mass Communications program, I am continuing my education in web deisgn and online communications. Throughout my program, I have coded multiple websites from scratch; designed logos, marketing materials, and graphics for web and social; conducted a semester-long, data-driven website audit using Google Analytics and AdWords; designed and executed usability tests; presented projects and presentations to peers around the world; explored mass communications theory and strategy; and partnered with companies to gain real-world experience.

I simultaneously work in the corporate world, using my knowledge and experience to promote business devleopment goals. My responsibilities are constantly growing and changing, but a day in the office usually includes: designing and drafting email campaigns in MailChimp, updating the company website, designing new promotional items for production and working with vendors, pulling reports and analytics for marketing materials, designing print marketing materials, drafting social media posts, and assisting in events communications. My favorite part about what I do is transforming my clients ideas into engaging finished products, and tracking the success of those projects with meaningful data.

Thank you for visiting my site, and taking an interest in my world. I look forward to collaborating with you on your next project!
